Roll Cage
 

Can someone please point me in the best direction for a roll cage and install.

I am looking for an up and over loop behind the front seats with bars running into the back, so a 4 point. I am also wanting the cage to be polised or power coated.

Any help would be appreciated.

i had scott and club concepts build my old one. whomever he outsourced it too was one of the best i've ever seen as the penny roll welds were perfect but it was costly. if you have one custom built in the car you'll probably have to settle for painting it.

Unless you buy a bolt-in like the Wolfe, you'll pretty much have to paint it. With that said, Stenod Performance did an excellent job extending my cage and did it for a very reasonable price. Joe and his crew are all stand up guys.

Would a simple up and over loop behind the front seats offer me any protection. I don't plan on doing anything to wild. I just would like the little piece of mind that seeing it in the car will offer. Or, should I be truthfull and say the piece of mind it would give my wife.

11.49's require a roll bar at the track with door bars. I wouldn't think a simple loop would offer any protection. A 4 pt like you were discussing earlier would be a start since it has those two rear bars to offer some structure to it. If it were me and I was going through the work of putting a roll bar in it, I'd just get a 6pt. with swing outs. This is what I had before, and the swingouts can be unbolted for the street and you'll hardly notice. Plus it's legal if you're fast enough at the track. Even with the door bars out, the car felt a good deal "tighter" than it did even with subframes installed.

do you have a pics of a swingout style cage??? i've been trying to get an idea how they are setup!
