New Personal Best Last Night @ Milan

I skipped the M7 event where I planned on testing my new heads, cam and computer retune. My previous personal best was 12.8 at 104. Last night I shattered that with a 12.2 at 110, this with only a 1.75 60' time. I layed down a couple of 12.4's and some other times also. I had a real hard time hooking still. I will be back with a set of ET Streets to see what the car is really capable of. I do think I can manage into the 11's since I was not able to launch full throttle. I'll also have a new ported throttle body and a set of lower control arms to help me out a little. The car is set to run rich to be on the safe side. Time to lean it out just a little and see what it will do.

I look forward to meeting the 11's soon!!!!!!!

Re: New Personal Best Last Night @ Milan

sweet run man. glad to hear that head/cam/tune is finally done. any power #s? I dont remember, do you have rear control arm relocaters? if not you should get them.

where again did you take your car for install and how much did they charge ya? ( I have a horrible memory)

I didnt have such good luck sat. at M7, I broke my alt. bracket after only one race. at least it was a new PB of a 12.77 @109.5mph. but I know I could have done atleast 12.5 if my timing was in the right place. I plan on hitting the high 11's n/a next year. I'll be doing over the winter: 4:10 gears, bigger stall like 35-3800(hopefully vig.), swapping in some v6 front coil springs, rear relocaters, airbags in rear, and some subframe conn.s. I think that would get me close if not there.
let me know if you need any more work done.

Thumbs up

Congrats on the new bests Bill.
I just ran a new best of 12.394 @ 109.26 with a 1.67 60' on ET streets with the same mods as you except for the heads, cam, & headers <jk>

In other words get them ET streets on and run to the cars potential I think 11s will be easy
