New Converter Installed, Thanks Chris (IrocSS85)!

Chris did an awesome job getting my new converter in and the car checked out. I went from a 2800 stall to a 3800 2.3str. The car hits really hard out of the hole and from a roll. I cant wait to see what it does at the track. With the old converter it would only foot brake to about 2200rpm, now 3000rpm.

New tires next, MT ET Street Radials..... Then tarck test it. Then, 12bolt with 3:73s and I am done for the summer (unless I hit it with a TNT Nitrous kit).

Well, thanks again Chris...... Anyone needs work done you should talk with Chris, great to work with!

thanks buddy, I cant wait either to get that car to the track. Im guessing 11.8's @ 114mph with a 1.63 60' so now you got something to shoot for. it was fun doin a job like this at work instead of all the boring warranty jobs. glad we could get that worked out.

It is a different feel that is for sure.... Much looser than my 2800. I love the way it kicks yoou in the A%$ from a 30MPH Roll. How long is the break in period for a convrter. I have not tried anything from a dead stop. I only got on it about 5 times on the way home yeasterday.

I hope to get to the track in a couple weeks...... Let me know if you decide to go. I'll see if I can make it.

Thanks Again Chris...... You should open your own shop.

Thanks Rod,

Man is it a different feel. I had a 3600 in my 98 and it didn't feel like it hit this hard. I hope it is actually running as well as it feels!

Let me know if you are going to the track anytime soon.

How are your cars coming along? Still working on the Mustang?

Thanks,

Bill

Chris is putting my car back together right now. Should be done in a couple weeks.

I went to Livernois last year. They did a good tune, but a couple things I was not happy with. Livernois was a bit of a hike for me. Vector Racing is a mile from my work. Kirk did my original tuning, but when APE was going through thier crap, I went to Livernois.

So, who are you going with after your car goes back together? Livernois?

Thanks,

Bill

Dose Kirk give a discount rate for a retune? He did mine when it was APE and now I have a new heads/cam set up.
Thanks, Dane
