Michigan Girl looking for help with this 81 Camaro Z28

Michigan girl needs help with 81 Camaro Z28
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Metro Detroit area girl looking for help with this 81 Camaro Z28.

Looking to restore it and get the engine going strong.

It starts and drives now but with a battery and some ether. The wiring does need to be completely re-done.

I am trying to find out who can help with the engine work, who can help with the body/restoration work.

Where to go? Who to see? Anybody interested in some side money to work on out here??

Any help is apprectited.

Thanks!

Why don't you tell us what your goals are as far as how much power do you want, how much do you have to spend, what do you want done? The body doesn't look too bad, how many miles are on the engine? Give your boyfriend a Chilton manual and tell him to get to work, the 350 is one of the easiest engines to work on/upgrade. Tell us what you want and there are plenty of people that will help steer you in the right direction. In my opinion if the engine is bad then a crate motor is the best way to go, I spent too much money building up my 350. Good Luck.

Sorry, I didn't mean anything, I just didn't understand what he was saying. My girlfriend always makes me fix everything for her, I guess I am used to being told to "get a manual and fix it".

Back to the point, what does she expect out of the car and what is her budget, that will determine what direction to point her into.

I can help with some of the entertainment if you're cute. lol Seriously I'm sure you'll get lots of help from the guys here. I can turn a wrench or two if needed and my friend wouldn't mind either I'm sure. Has redone two 70s corvettes.
