Merry Christmas, Indeed.

This afternoon, everything was going so well (best Christmas in ten years, probably). Then my 11 year-old son went for an afternoon walk by himself on the soccer field across the street. He was ambushed by a teenaged boy who shot him in the upper chest with a paintball gun, for no good reason. My son's understandably upset, especially in coming home with pink paint all over his new winter jacket. He's afraid to walk alone outside our house at the moment. (I don't blame him)

I've filed a report with the police and will definitely press charges if they catch the predator.

Thats crazy. At least hes not seriously hurt. The only upside is you both know he can take a paintball to the chest now.
