FYI, chromemoly cages have to be TIG welded in. not mig like mild steel. that requires a much more exp. welder and alot more talent to weld. you will need a pro. welder for that job. let us know where you find and how much it cost though.

If you want your cage welded in, call Beebe Motorsports in Garden City. He does all types of welding, Mig and Tig for cages. And can custom bend as well. He did the bar in my GTO and it looks awesome. (734)721-6921 ask for Matt, his work is awesome. Tell him you got the number from me.

Harlan might do it, if he has time. If not ask Fortuna.

It's not cheap but Andre in Windsor did a kick *** job on my convertible. He also did Denny's 'vert, Rick's T/A, and Taner and Roman's car. I'm telling you, his work is FLAWLESS. He custom fabbed the subframe connectors and welded them in a way that should make them much stiffer than aftermarket ones. Here's his contact info:

Mailloux Chassis (519) 727-5505

I'll be home in a couple of weekends if you want to come over and check out his work. I didn't have time to paint anything before I left so nothings been hidden yet. You could deliver my exhaust while you were at it if you want since I didn't get a chance to pick it up last weekend!

94_Z28_RAGTOP, did you just have Andre do your car last week??

I was there to set up having my SFC's welded in, and my relocation bracket too if I get them soon enough, and he was doing some custom SFC's on a ragtop.

Also I give one more vote for Andre, he does great work, and with the favorable exchange rate, while probably be a great deal too

I highly doubt you'll see Fortuna doin cages anytime soon. I think he's burned out.

Yes, that was my car. I wouldn't call Andre's work cheap, but it was definitely well worth the money. He did a top notch job and that usually costs a little extra!
