'Twas by far the best day at the track I have ever had! We went there with TrouserSnake and his friend that didn't pay to get in by hiding in the trunk of the Trans Am which I later found out used to belong to my friend Jamal. I ran my best time ever...

60': 1.878 (New best)
330': 5.665 (New best)
1/8: 8.785 (New best)
mph: 79.08 (New best)
1000': 11.467 (New best)
1/4: 13.732 (New best)
mph: 99.30 (New best)

All I did was put in a new chip that I burned. My previous best was a 14.4 @ 96 on the exact same motor, no other mods than the chip.

Dreamer1q Ran a 13.9 for his first pass ever. Congrats!

TrouserSnake beat me in our first race of the day going 13.6 @ 103.

Chris provided the grill and hotdogs/buns. Thanks Chris! We all owe ya for that one.

Steve broke his car so he couldn't race.

Redbird showed up as well as TA Jack and Hot Rod Hawk. Good times today! It was awesome.

I had a great time. Lost my cherry at the track with a 13.969 @ 98 mph. I even did it on street tires. Plus I won best burnout in my class. Won 25 bucks for that and keep the burnout title on the west side The video I have is really good too. Thanks to Joey and Chris for that one. But you guys missed my award winning burnout Guess that means I will have to do it again Now I am totally hooked Thanks to everyone who came, you guys gave me good tips to work with. Espically Steve, you were like the Yoda of the group, the Jedi Master. Thanks for all the help. I will be back, just not till after the Dreamcruise. But you all better show up for that one. Anyway, thanks everybody, and to those who missed it, you missed alot of fun. Also, notice the new sig

My lesson in humility for the week for sure. You guys have no idea how torqued I am about my posi going out. Quentin, I got the posi out when I got home. I'm going to need a new one. Will you see if you guys have one laying around first thing on Monday?

Good work for all of you guys that were there today. CamaroZ28.com surely represented themselves today! I'll see you guys at the dream cruise.

Yea, Jeff talked me into going today instead of Sunday. I asked to be put in pro class(no box) at the gate and then found out there was an indexed street race going on so I went back to Mary Jo and traded tech cards and add. $10 to get into a 12.0 class with a 5/10s pro tree. Sound familar? Just like NMCA EFI 12. Well, Jeff had me on the number and I made it to the finals but broke out with an 11.99 to 12.01. Dam, I hated to loose to that old primered POS T-bird. I think when Hink saw the Dynamic Duo in the 12.0 class it scared him into the 13.0 class which he managed to win. Fun time, good weather and 60's better than Grand Bend.

Dam, I knew I should have showed up...

Holding out until I get the new rear end in. Steve, just go ahead & get the 12 bolt. If not, I know someone who has a brand new 10 bolt

I probably wont make it to Stanton until after woodward, but you never know. Depends on if everything comes together. Plus, I figued if Rebecca wasn't showing up, then it would be a bust..

Cool

Nice to meet some of the west-end fellas! I think they are even cooler than the east-end people (now ducking for cover)

Yeah... T/A and Hawk scared me out of M/S into R/S where I made 800' full on the gas passes and coasting the rest of the way!!!
Well... that and I toasted my brand new MSD box again and couldn't squeeze the juice so I had to slow the car down a half a second.

Best .500 pro tree RT was a .564 in the final! Give me a few more practice sessions and I'll get sub .550's footbraking!

Nice to see the turnout of F-friends!!
By the way... Derty drives a very kool BMW!!
Rebecca dissappointed me by not showing! Hoping to see them 'stockers' someday!

It was cool going to the Strip but i think a test and tune would of been cooler. I didnt even really get to try out the new stall past 1500 hundred and i found out later my MAF wasnt even on hooked on the Cold Air . Im not really into the Pro Tree the one time i went out and when the light turned green i was in Reverse!! oh well im going Wensday to get all the bugs worked out of it. Dreamer the bank doesnt open till tommarow so ill take the money out give it to Momma bear and have her write you a Check so e-mail me with your Address and full name, you should get that tunner cat going and we will meet up at test and tune and get them running prime

Thanks Chad I was sooooo stoked about getting into the 13's I wouldn't shut up about it haha. Is Stanton really .7 faster than Martin? Seems so.

All in all it was an awesome time. Oh, and thanks to the guy who lent me a helmet. I don't think he posts here, but if he does. I am grateful.

We'll have to do this again soon.

Thanks, Harold.

Guys, I wanted to let you know that I won't be coming to Woodward this year, although I appreciate the invites to sleep with you -- er, stay with you. Someone asked me to house-sit for her three doggies for two weeks from the 6th through the 18th, so I'm going to miss out. It was a decision between spending money and making some money so you can see which one I went with. Every little bit help$ you know...
