FS: 1978 Malibu Classic
FS: 1978 Malibu Classic
I am only the 3rd owner of this beauty! The odometer reads ~62,000 kms (don't know if it's really 62k or if it's 162k because it's only a 5-digit odometer?
). Has a 305 V8, 2 barrel carb, 3-speed auto. Starts and runs great. The body is in very good condition for the age, although it is starting to show a couple "blemishes" here and there (no holes though). The only "modification" I have done to the car was to add an AM/FM/CD deck.
This car is otherwise all original, 100% factory stock. I have been using it as a daily driver year-round any time my Z28 is parked, and it has been perfectly reliable
. I think it would still be a great daily driver, OR a good solid base for a restoration project.
Asking price: $3500 CDN$, OR would trade for a 1988 or newer Chev/GMC full-size pick-up of equal value (I need a truck, that's why I'm selling the car).
Let me know if you're interested

That car looks awesome, it could make one heck of a sleeper but you have to keep it mint green.
Too bad my girlfriend would kill me if I bought a car like that otherwise I would be scheming up some plans.
Good luck.

Yeah, damn women and what they think!!
You know what's funny, is the Malibu turns way more heads than my Z28 does?!?!
Go figure! And if you know Oshawa (the 'Shwa as we locals call it
), it only makes sense that anyone who walks by my house stops and does a double take at the car!
Anyway thanks for the good words, boys ... hopefully someone has the same "vision" for the car and scoops it up
. Honestly, I would do up the car, but I've already got my Camaro for that, and I really need a truck for doing home reno's, etc.
