I read the original posting and there's not a single media provider who gives a rat's a$$. He can't prove **** and who in their right mind uses lifter springs in an application that break like that?

Save it for someone who cares. The world is full of injustices and this isn't one of them.

what the he!! is that about? the fella's just asking for some help. weather its his fault, or the dealerships fault, or the wrong choice in valvesprings. (lifter springs? )

if I wasnt sooo busy Id totally help ya out, but I already have tooo much on my plate. changing the springs isnt that hard, its just very time consuming. good luck getting them installed. hopefully someone here has the time/knowhow. BTW, didnt you still have single springs in there now? if so, I didnt know there were double springs that would fit the stock spring pocket. typically you have to have the spring seats machined bigger to accept the bigger diam. seats/springs.

same thing I was gonna say. Your gonna need to have machine work done to the heads to get them to fit. Its not just a take off and put on type of thing unless you are using the original size spring, which your obviously not.

A few years back my mom bought a used Taurus SHO from a dealer in Grosse Pointe. A week later the car started falling apart. Brakes, front suspension, power sunroof, and the drivers door almost fell off from bad hinges. I took the car to my buddies body shop to have the sunroof looked at. When they took the headliner off they found evidence that the cars roof had been replaced. Upon looking further they found that the whole side of the car was also repaired from a heavy collision. I went back to that dealer and told them we wanted her $ back. They gave me the runaround for 2 or 3 days... Then I went back and told them I was going to park the car out in front of their lot (on a public street) with lemons all over it and call the media. We had a check in hand within hours and they even gave her back extra for all the hassle.

Sometimes just bluffing will get you somewhere... But if you are positive that they screwed your car up and have proof then I say by all means pursue it... Try the lemon thing

I have stage 2 heads and they have already been machined for larger diamater double springs. I have a new set of springs (nice new ones, new design) coming from the head mfg and porter, so all is good on that end.
