Are there any deli's locally that compare?

There was some new girl working there so i didn't get as much as i ussually get. Thats about 80% of what they normally pile on

around here all you get is 3 slices of roast beef

Yeah, but it sure makes Deel walk funny afterwards.

Trey: Like Dave said, the good delis are hard to find, but they exist.

OTOH Try to find a good Coney Dog in New York City. It's unpossible!

The souper sandwich carver next to my job on Wayne Rd. Just south of Cherry hill has some pretty big sandwiches. Not much of a selection though.

Grand Rapids, Michigan. Corner of Jefferson and Wealthy. The Schnitzelbank German Restaurant. Or if you are on the south end of town you can go to the corner of 44th and Kalamazoo to the Schnitz South. Best sandwiches in town.

"Wheat and Rye" The corned beef sammich is easily TWICE as big
as the one you have shown - no lie. Also they offer Prime rib that goes up to 32 oz. Yikes! There are a few of the restaurants around but the original is in Allen Park and is by far the best.

The best deli around is City Deli in Port Huron or Marysville. Its a small family owned business and I always stop by when I'm in the area.

One used to be able to get really loaded subs at the Galley on WMU's campus. Looked like that picture. Especially if the employees' eyes were small. :toke: But then they moved into the same building with Duds N Suds and now they put less stuff on the subs. No hidden back door to stand by and have a smoke.

My personal favorite is Zingermans in Ann Arbor.
Everthing else pales in comparison.

yep, they're a little pricey but also very good.

They're one of the top rated delis in the country.

I recommend #40 on grilled rye
