As you can tell from my sig, I am in the midst of a heads/cam swap on my z. I want to know if anyone wants to come over and help put it all back together Saturday or Sunday (I'll be working on it both days no matter what). I live in Warren, Michigan which I'm sure you all know is a few miles north of D-Town. So far, the cam is in and the block and other mating surfaces are clean (at least clean in my opinion lol). The heads are ready to go except for the front coolant plugs (which I ordered today from the dealer so they should be here Friday). The parts I'm most concerned about are the timing cover (ripped seal but I have new one), hub, and a few other things. Pizza and pop is on me. It'd be cool to meet a few of the local guys so maybe we can ride out to the track over the summer. 1994Transam (Adam ) came over at 10am today we started around 10:30. we changed the oil pan seal legitimately (boy was that fun) and got the timing cover installed (still more joy). We also painted my intake manifold, modified my valve covers for the 1.6's, cleaned up everything else and got it ready to go for tomorrow. Adam is THE MAN!!! Thanks a million for your help man and I can't wait to get all this stuff done tomorrow. You're truly a Godsend man. Talk to ya later online. I'm going out to see if I can find that darn missing oil pan bolt ;-). Anyone wanna join us tomorrow?
