Any GOOD speed shops in Lansing area?

I need one that stocks nitrous parts. I need a WOT switch, couple jets, and some misc AN fittings... ASAP!

Thanks!

You might try Johnson's Speed Shop. Look em up in the phone book. I don't know how much of a "speed shop" they actually are though. The one experience I had with them, was less than desirable.

They deal more with "muscle" cars, rather than 4 th gen F bodies. They may have what you are looking for though.
Thanks. I called and they said they could order what I needed, but didn't stock it

Steve at Wildside at Gougac and Helmer has alot of AN fittings and hoses hanging on his wall. That is where I got the fittings I needed for my blowdown tube.

Excellent. Good to know. I know Jerry at Dickman Auto Parts on Columbia Ave has some as well, but I know he doesn't have or know much to do with nitrous. Great guy though, been around since the 60s, and will match Sumiit's prices and shipping times.

Do you happen to know a number for Wildside? I don't have a BC phonebook here (in the Lansing office right now).

I've heard bad things bout Automotion. They tend to be overpriced and they might even be going out of business next week. Rumors have been circulating...

I heard they were overpriced too, but desperate times call for drastic measures. I hadnt heard they were going out of buisness though.

I wouldn't go there for anything. The people who own/operate that place are tools. They don't stock anything there that I have ever seen either.

I couldnt believe how many people were missing their teeth that worked there. I'm not talking about 1 tooth either, but several. Then I found out that the one with the most missing teeth was the owner

I ended up stopping at Boost Unlimited and what he didn't have on hand he said he would have on the counter when I got there today after work. They had some nice stuff in there on the racks. A twin turbo firehawk (watch out for a black firehawk on the streets Chad), a black c5 with a powerdyne waiting to go in...a 5 liter stang getting some boost, couple bugs, etc

I need to go by wildside and see what they have around there too.

Was the red newer style Mustang still there?

That thing has a twin turbo with Nitrous setup that is supposed to have 750+ rwhp, the guy is from K-zoo and likes to street race.
