OK back to the top. I need to get this thing out of my driveway. I had a few emails previously but I lost them. I finally have pictures I can forward and have title in hand. Buy it and part it out, buy it and have a decent winter ride....Just get it out of my driveway!
Price Lowered to $1300 as is
I am trying to get some cash together for the holidays and will be selling off my winter ride.
Basic Details
94 Jeep Grand Cherokee
4.0 I-6
124k miles
Black w/ beige leather interior
Full time 4 wheel drive.
This car is solid and only had one trace of rust which was taken care of two years ago. The exterior is average shape (Factory black paint subject to 10 years of weather along with some minor door dings). The interior is perfect with the exception of the carpets needing a steam cleaning. The leather still lokks new.
Mechanically it is great and hasn't left me stranded in 10 years. There is a problem with the transfer case though. The viscous coupling is burnt out so the vehicle only drives the rear wheels. The vehicle has been driven this way for the past 10k miles. The only bad effect is you only have rear wheel drive and not 4wd.
I have a new viscous coupling which I am including with the sale. It is a straightforward 5 hour job if you do it yourself. I can also have this repaired before the vehicle is sold for an extra $300.
I am firm on the price. This is a good winter ride or possibly a good opportunity for someone to make some money parting it out. The VIN is clean so that has got to be worth something to someone.
I can get pics tonight for anyone who is interested.

I am interested in it, does it have any other problems other than the viscous coupling? When can I come look at it? can you email me your phone number, I have cash and am serious about picking up another jeep since mine has high mileage. What kind of gas mileage does it get? Thanks.

Ok, so far there are a couple of people coming out to look at it. I will give preference in the order of emails/pm's I received.

There aren't any other major problems with it. The check engine light comes on every now and then but it runs fine. Gas mileage is so so 15 city 18 hwy. A tuneup would probably help.
