Those damn things are HELL on your back. Even for just a day at the track.

Very light though.

Now just cut out that beer for a month and you could be 300 #'s lighter.

You'll be amaized at how much of a diference loosing all that way will make in the car. If you've taken alot off the front, you'll be spending some time tuning the suspension to keep the nose down. Good luck this year.

Thumbs up

You guys make us slow car owners look bad enough allready. you should have to add 300LBs so when you pass us we at least have time to read your rear plates.

300#'s lighter...WHAT!!!

that isn't possible, what about all of the those people that depend on me to deliver their beer for them!

most of the weight was off of the front, so it should be interesting.

slow down...lol! gotta love speed to much!

frt and rr bumper sppts, door crash bars, added chromoly k frame, also upper and lower ctrl arms, hals, abs, smaller battery, now seats only for racing (i mean they aren't the prettiest things, but they are functional). maybe a couple of other things i forgot.

it all adds up, only other thing left is pass. side air bag and hvac crap, that will be good for probably another 50 #'s. with that done i may be in the 3300 race weight range.

If every little ounce of weight counts I guess my 200 + lbs of stereo equipment in the car is a real crutch for me

i wouldn't call it a crutch but rather a realy big sandbag in the back, lmao!!!!

if i pulled all of the stereo out of my 80 camaro, and pulled the Recaro buckets I bet the car would pick up 3 tenths, lmao!!!! throw a real stall into it and 12's would be quite possible!
