What's with Hooters all the time?
Sorry for being ignorant, but is there a kind of impromptu car show there every week or month or something? I would really like to know so I could start attending (by no means showing though
) and meeting some fellow board members. Thanx.

I have absolutely no clue on why we are suppose to show up there on the last Thirstyday of the month, outside of Jackie telling us to do so. I HAVE seen some really nice cars, albeit the sometimes ton of noise boxes powered by four cylinders, but I always thought it as for the, ummm, scenery

Oh yeah, thanks again!!
If you can get over seeing all the ricers, the show is really cool.
Fastbird...I haven't gone to the track again since the day I met you. That was just a chance for me to get a baseline of how my Chevelle is running. I have to rejet the carb, adjust the timing and change the spark plugs before I go again. And the new rear axle is in the works, too. I can't wait until I have TRACTION !!!! This car is gonna scream once the rear gets done. I ran 13.5 @ 104 in that aweful heat and humidity, untuned. I am thinking that once the above items are addressed; the car will go 12.2 - 12.5 w/ 1.6 - 1.7 60 fts. These are just guesses so I will just have to wait and see.
I read another post you had saying you ran a 13.3 or something...nice job! You can taste the 12's can't ya?
And I haven't entered my chevelle into the Hooters show yet but I did enter a different one last month. Alot of NICE cars but I didn't place in the top 20. (out of about 200). it was fun though.
later guys.....Heavy...
