Seeing more and more F-Body's at YSU

I'm seeing more and more F-Body's at YSU. I know I've seen a SOM LS1 Trans Am WS6, a black LT1 Trans Am with exhaust, a white LT1 Z28 with exhaust, and a bunch of V6's. And I think I might have seen Tim's Z28 once.

Re: Seeing more and more F-Body's at YSU

Mine used to roam the crime filled roads of Y-town. Actually had a few good races on and around campus.

My buddy who works for YSU used to have a blown LT1 TA, but now has a bolt on Z/28. RK Sport mids, LPE CAI, Hooker catback with stock tips. Its the maroon color. A very cool guy if you see him and get the chance to talk with him.

I routinely saw that one kids bolt on SS, Jarrod I think.

I think I saw and talked to the black LT1 TA with exhaust. He wanted to race until he found out I had more mods than him.

I know there is a yellow 99-04 GT that runs around there with a good size N2O shot. Really nice guy though, I think it runs 13's with the "bolt on's.

I'm actually the one who made it cool to have a 4th Gen F-body at YSU You wanna b's

There are a couple nice cars at YSU I see from time to time [mostly in the nicer weather. I know I've seen about 3 350Z's, one black S2000 with a hot blonde driving it , 3 GTO's [all 2004 models], a red 01+ M3 vert [I think a professor owned that one though], a white LT1 Corvette an older lady owns, a lightly modded blue WRX without the spoiler, and a 13.0sec red Honda hatchback. I saw the Honda run at Quaker, so I know what it can do. It looks bone stock on the outside, except for some black wheels and the front mount intercooler hiding behind the grill.

I have to say I like today's weather for being Feb 22.

For both of you guys, even though I called Justin about it already. I am going to be taking some F-body film to submit to the Video in the F-body Lounge section. If either of you want in [or have a car ready] Let me know. I think my buddy Lou might be getting his Z by then too.

Yes I did. No problem on being busy, I can completely understand. I'm working 3rd shift now 5 days a week and that plus 15 credit hours is giving me a run for my money. Although its also giving me money for other things

I think I'll steal this thread a little bit, Camarocracy feel free to disapprove.

I am probably getting a set of GTP LT4 Heads and Intake in the next week or so. I'm going to need minimal down time on the car so if either of you want to lend a hand or watch to learn, just let me know what days or times are good for you. I'll be trying to enlist the help of a few other folks [Darkhorse, Grease, SPD2MCH, Cantonracer, etc] and try to get everyone there and do the swap in one day. It'll probably be a SAT or SUN.

Why am I doing this?...oh well my intake manifold has a small leak and I found this to be the best way to fix it

Next fall there will be one more F-body at YSU. Thats where I'm transferring to.

Transfering from where? I might be coming back and adding another F-body to the list since driving to Streetsboro[work], Akron [school]and G/F's house [Youngstown] constantly is really murdering me money wise. The happenings in late march arent going to help any either.

Re: Seeing more and more F-Body's at YSU

I'm transfering from Slippery Rock University, located in Slippery Rock, PA.

I bought my F-body so that I could save money on gas and drive something that was more stylish than my G-body (1984 Buick Regal Limited-now forsale).

Should drop a turbo buick motor into your vert. That way you can have good gas mileage by turning the boost down and lots of horsepower by turning the boost up .

Dustin, I'm banning you for hijackig my thread. j/k
