I'm hoping to stop by on Sunday but Saturday is out. I'll be at E-town for the summer nationals.

I'll be there running points on Saturday so if you're there, stop by and say hello. We usually pit along the fence on Jackson Road at the end of the staging lanes.

We just may swing by the BBQ to say "hey" during our downtime.

Jim - we'll be looking for you! Last Saturday we took on a few more "Pro" drivers since it was the first race of the second half. I ended up getting to the lanes late (watching the pro mods with my dad) and got bumped to the left lane and paired up with Andrew Bracuto... he kicked my butt!!!!

Just show up Sunday, you don't have to be signed up for points to race. Same applies the the regular bracket races. I'm not signed up for points but plan to race Saturday night in the PRO class .

Jackie, sounds like you want me to go left and reak havock with the points racers? Actually I like to go up front and run right lane. Whose's the hitters up front running left?

Murph Jr.

Shawn Fricke (Currently #1 in points) also runs the left lane but he doesn't run up to the front.

I've been thinking about running the left lane for the first round and getting up to the lanes 1st b/c I know the few that run the right lane and race to the front of the lanes are so-so. But that leaves me high and dry for 2nd round and the left lane seems to be quite a bit quicker than the right so dialing would be murder. I think I'll stick to the right lane but not screw around and get up there somewhat quickly. The majority of the "hitters" still run the right lane...

Footbrake is a term used for non electronic drag racing, no button to launch the car. Basically you hold the car on the line with you left foot on the brake then bring the rpms up with your right foot on the gas. When it's go time you launch the car by lifting off the brake pedal while hitting the gas.

Had a great time and it was nice to see everybody again. I would of had a better time if I didn't self destruct and go red. Congrats to the winners for a job well done. Hope to see ya all again at Island. Thanks to Tim and Justin for putting the whole thing togeter.
