I live in Parma and i was just wondering what you guys do? I would love to hit the track or race around with everyone when my buildup is done. I verry seldom see modded f-bodies in my area, with exception of the most beautiful orange/black 02 ss i have ever seen. Other then that i just play with ricers and that gets boring. Just wanna meet some people who love f-bodies as much as i do.

I spend alot of time in the area too. My g/f lives in Strongsville, and all you see around there are Ricers and Mustangs, since thats their mascot. Not to mention I bought my Z/28 in North Olmstead two summers ago. It was sitting in the Dicks lot. PM me if you guys are ever up to anything, and I'll let you know if I am in the area. This summer I was there every weekend, the summer before everyday.

Re: Everyone from Cleveland/Ohio
Register over at www.neofb.com . We usually hang out at the North Olmsted Office Max parking lot starting in late Spring until the Fall (weather permitting), Saturday nights from 11PM to ???AM. The police are usually cool unless someone decides to get stupid. If any races get setup, it usually goes down on 480. You can check out Dragway 42's website at www.dragway42.com . Speaking of Dragway 42, Anyone going to the Hangover Nationals on Jan. 1st??? I'm planning on taking the Grand Am. Everyone runs on a 20.05 dial. It should be a blast.

Re: Everyone from Cleveland/Ohio
I live in Fairview Park, I saw some guys haging arround great northern, but it was always a bunch of ricers, and "mini trucks" so I rarely stop. I am usualy arround the area. My car is red/ black roof and mirrors, and has Stealth Racing on the front and in smaller letters on the side. 480 is a decent place to race, a good run is from Ridge Rd to Tedaman (sp?) west bound. Its straight and wide, I wasted alot of mustangs on that strip. If I can't get my turbo set up in time, I might just leave the car as is and cruze this summer.
42 is a dump, I guess it's not so bad if you don't mind the dirt Rd entrance. Or if you can stand the stock LS-1 guy that claims his car runs high 10's , but when he actually makes a pass he only traps 107. I race at Norwalk, and in late May for the last 3 years I have an 8 hour track rental. If enough guys are interested I will do it again. I look foreward to meeting some of you guys this summer.

Re: Everyone from Cleveland/Ohio
Is 42 still open, I know my local Quaker City closes down real quick in the season. Do they give you real stats for your car on the hangover national day? I know 42 isnt the best but I need some times on my set-up, last time I ran it was bone stock.

Glad to see alot of people around the NE Ohio area on here. Have to bring the NE F-body forum to life

Re: Everyone from Cleveland/Ohio
Yeah, according to the website they'll be open. I'd imagine they'd have to give you a time slip since you have to run on a 20.05 dial. That's going to take some practice. It looks like if the weather is good, they'll be running regular brackets as well.

Re: Everyone from Cleveland/Ohio
My car and I are hanging out in our garage as of late. Stupid weather...North Carolina is awesome. Anyway, I live in University Heights. I'm not new to the area, but it's been a few years since I've been back, and the first with my car. I'd like to meet some other F-Body people. Down in NC the FBody scene was awesome, up here it seems kind of dead. I hardly ever see another car like mine around.

Re: Everyone from Cleveland/Ohio
So is anyone going to the hangover nationals? Also, I dont have cats, so I am going to qualify as "street cars only" ?

I can start running at 11am until 2 then I'll start getting eliminated right?

I just want to get some times on my setup and wouldnt mind driving out there to get some.

Will they get mad if I am hauling *** down the track running 13's?

Re: Everyone from Cleveland/Ohio
I'll be there with the Grand Am. Time Trials from 11-2 and then the Eliminations start. You'll need a Snell 2000 approved helmet if you run a 13.99 or quicker. I can bring mine if you need to borrow one. It's for street cars only and as long as the track condition is good, there will be a regular bracket race so you should be fine running all out.
