LoL, I know how to drive the car, just can't seem to get tires to hold it, without going to a full slick! When driving on the street, if I pull away slowly and ride 1sy up to 15-20mph like normal and then punch it the SS immediately breaks the tires loose and I speed shift to 2nd still spinning and occasionally will spin until I let up to shift to third Next year I am going for a different look! I will get skinnies for the front( 15x4 or so) and run M/T ET Streets 26x11.5x15 (15x10) out back. I plan on getting a new Torque arm, one that moves the tailshaft mounting of the torque arm to mounting to a brace for the chassis, like Spohne or BMr trackpak, along with some 12 way adjustable shocks. I am also looking into an Agostino Racing Engines(same place that supplied my current H/C) www.agostino-racing.com , shortblock. I am looking at either a 360, 382, or 391. My existing heads will carry me into 415+ cubic inches and the spings are good for 650 lift. I just don't know if I will go with an iron block or aluminum. The iron will for sure hold my 150-300 direct port nitrous kit . I should be able to hit somewhere around 440-475 RWHP NA and 600-775 RWHP w/ N2O. My torque should be about 435-500 NA and 635-850 RWTQ.

Oh yeah....for all that were interested, here's my best slip of the day....

REACT - .860
60 FT- 2.034
330 FT - 5.770
1/8 ET - 8.872
1/8 MPH - 79.56
1000 ET - 11.502
1/4 ET - 13.797
1/4 MPH - 99.08

I was begiining to think my car was sick, but I was only .04 off my best time ever. Not too shabby for the few mods that I have.

Thumbs up

I agree, not too shabby Jeff. I was only a tenth faster last year with alot more in performance mods than you, yet identical 60ft times

http://www.geocities.com/greasemunkeey/ETQCR01.jpg See what I mean.

I still think one of you should have driven down here and borrowed my drag radials. Oh well, the year is not yet over.

Haha. It must be. At least my color is more rare.

Now that I think about it, any one up for going to D42 on Friday? I don't leave for Florida until Saturday morning. nOne last chance for me to set a new ET.

It is too bad I didnt wake up til noon on Sunday. I was suppose to install the suspension stuff with my dad. Guess it will have to wait til winter. I wanted to see how much it would help too.

Well it is looking bad for tomorrow. Looks like it is going to rain. I am still going to keep an eye out and check. The weather people are never right so I might decide last minute to go. Any one else is welcome if they want. 42 will be the choice more than likely but Thompsons will be considered also.
