I think i saw that someone here works at Bob Johnson Chevy. I need to get a scanner on my car to find a problem.

I have a bunch of friends at Doan Chevrolet, and Gary (GM98Z) works there. The night crew (3pm-midnight) are really cool guys, and they are into modded cars

That is the only dealership I would trust to work on my car. They are located in Spencerport. 5 miles west of 390 on Ridge Rd (rt.104).

The evening service manager is named Jeff....ask for him.

Thanks! I know exactly where that is. I live in Greece. I'll have to check that out. I need to know what this problem is. I ran 13.5 with a cold air intake and Flowmaster cat-back. Now I have the mods in my sig. and I ran a best of 14.0 on Friday. Need less to say I was in a foul mood on the way home from NYIRP.

ET is usless in saying that the car isnt performing correctly. What was the mph difference? You could go 13.5@104 with intake/exhaust, then run a 14.0@112 with cam/headers and your car would be running great (powerwise)....you would just need to get traction. See what I am saying?

I was running 13.5 @ 101-102mph. I ran 14.0 @ 101-102mph. It sucks. Anyway, I just got back from Doan. Jeff rules!!!
I walk in at 11:30 and explain my problem. He said Gary is off, but lets see what we can find. He's a hell of a guy. We found small discrepencies between the O2's and the fuel injector pulse width. We think I may have a problem with one of the bank 1 injectors. In the morning I'll disconnect each one and see if I notice anything different. There is a slight ticking coming from that side of the block, so I'm crossing my fingers! Once again, JEFF IS THE MAN!!! Jason, thanks for pointing me to the right place.

Good deal Andy.....Jeff is the man. I would check the restistance on each injector too....just to make sure they all are working correctly. The resistance should be around 12.5-13 ohms.

Let me know how you make out
