Hey guys,

I want to get into some MIG welding and wondering if I could find someone locally to show me the basics. I have a welder that I picked up a while back from HF tools, but haven't done anything with it yet.

so anyone want to stop by for a beer or two?

 

Hey man. I'm down at Alfred state college (just south of Hornell). I've taken a couple welding classes down here and have some good info if you want it. Take care.

I just finished rebuilding my 10-bolt and next I was planning to learn enough welding so I could weld on LCA relocation brackets and weld axles tubes to the differential housing all the way around.

you are not planning to stop by rochester any time soon, do you?

btw, related question: where is a good place to get scrap metal for practicing?

 

Yeah I can see what I can find for ya. A girl I'm dating goes to college in rochester so I come up every now and then. Let me get all the info together and see what I can find you for metal.
