i know this was a long time ago, but i wanted to let you know i didnt find any templates/pictures from straight up with the panel off the car. the way i did it was measure the space, then cut a rectangular piece of plexiglass with the biggest dimensions in there, then just used a rough sanding drum on a dremel to round the edges and make the cutouts for the arms on the cover. i think i probably spent 20-45 mins adjusting it to make it fit. just make sure you keep trying to fit it in and dont take too much off at once. just takes some patience and time. let me know if you need any help getting the logo and lighting

i had a template at some point. ill try to find it, or make a copy of the piece i have in the car. im not sure if itll work on your car though. i was going to make one for a friend (95 auto v6), and it didnt fit. im not sure if its different because its auto or pre 97. make sure your ash tray space looks like mine before you make it the same. ill try to find a template for you in the meantime
