yes or no: hotchkiss strut tower brace?

hey im looking for suspension parts to help out my ET a little bit. would a hotchkiss strut tower bar make it better or worse? i know its supposed to stiffen up the front end for better handling but what does it do for drag racing? i dont really care about corners too much heh. also i know of one for sale for $50 is this a good deal? i cant seem to find a retail price anywhere.

$50 is a good price, but I don't see how it will help you at the drag strip.

Well for $50.00 you can't go wrong. You can have it recoated to match your car and still be under the price of a new one.For everyday driving is were you will see the improvement not so much on the strip. Its basicaly something the factory should have put there from the start.

For $50 bucks that's a good price. The BEST mod for your suspension, regardless of your preference for the drags or road cornering ability is sub-frame connectors, save up some $$ & get the weld-on SFC's, will assist tremendously in preventing the torqueing of your unibody, better power transfer to the rear axle, and will definitely aid in future squeak prevention...

Have fun!
