Which Y pipe Is better for LT headers
I'm getting the Jet Hot LT headers. Now which Y pipe would work better with them. It's between the Hooker Off Road Y pipe, or the Mufflex Y pipe they sell at Thunderracing.com. They're about the same price, the Mufflex a little more. I've spent this much so far, so I want to get which ever is better then. I also have the borla cat back now also if that helps at all? Thanks.

How about you save yourself some money and go to a muffler shop and get one custom made :) Got mine custom made with flange's on every end so it's completly removeable only cost me $80 :thumb:

Yea...custom made and installed for $90-$100...

yea im getting hooker LT's and i was asking myself the same thing. I had heard that custom was the way to go, and i guess thats what i'm doing.

I would say true duals are better...That's why my Mufflex is for sale.

The Hooker y-pipe is cheap and works damn great. My only complaint is that it hits the bottom of the car at WOT....it can be fixed easily but I am lazy

Hooker Y pipe is better and cheaper than the Mufflex. Also, the Hooker really tucks up nicely under the car.
I have heard bad things about the Mufflex. |
