OK HERES THE DEAL, I WAS DISCONNECTING THE ALTERNATOR WIRE OFF THE BACK OF THE ALT. WITH THE BATTERY CONNECTED(I KNOW, I KNOW) AND MY WRENCH SHORTED BETWEEN THE WIRE AND THE TOP A/C HARDPIPE. WENT TO TURN ON MY A/C A DAY LATER AND IT DOESNT BLOW ANY COLD AIR. NEED SOME HELP, IM SURE ITS RELATED TO THAT INCIDENT BUT NOT SURE. ALSO I CHECKED ALL FUSES AND ALL SEEM SOLID.
Turn the caps off
Have you looked to see where it did "short" for any pinholes? Have you looked at the pressure sensor in the hardpipe to see if its little connector is damaged? Does the compressor clutch even engage? There is a lot of possibilites but just look at those first.

TRIED ALL OF YOUR ABOVE...LOOKED FOR PINHOLE, NONE. THAT SENSOR LOOKS FINE DIDNT TEST IT THOUGH. AND YEAH THE COMPRESSOR DOES KICK ON. AT LEAST THE RPM'S DECREASE WHEN I TURN ON THE A/C. WHAT ABOUT THE A/C COMPRESSOR RELAY? ALSO I FOUND A PLUG JUST HANGING DOWN BY THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD THAT HAS ALOT OF DIRT ON IT LIKE IT HAS BEEN THERE AWHILE, IT RUNS IN A PLASTIC COVER WITH THE LITTLE ALTERNATOR WIRE THAT CONNECTS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE ALTERNATOR, TWO WIRES CONNECTED TO THE PLUG ARE GREEN AND BLACK, WHAT DOES THIS CONNECT TO? IM MAINLY WORRIED ABOUT MY A/C PROBLEM THIS OTHER ONE CAN WAIT.
shoebox you are the man. that was it.......damn how simple. it was the green and black wire that plugged into the top of the compressor. shoebox that is a great site, very very helpful. now that we got that figured out, why would there be a wire spliced into the green wire (aftermarket from prev. owner) and it runs up to the red positive power block but was not connected?
