Please excuse my ignorance here, but can anyone shed some light on this?

It's a sheetmetal intake manifold that probably cost $3000+.

It doesn't look like sheet-metal to me, which would have to be fabricated. Whereas, this unit looks like cast aluminum!

It's a sheetmetal. I remember seeing the original thread on it. I forgot what they did to it to give it that cast look, but it is a sheet-metal.

This is NOT a sheetmetal manifold, this is a modded GM ramjet with a different top on it.

Contact 1racerdude on this board, it belongs to him. Seeing as it will never come out of storage....he might sell it. Be prepared to write a check for $3500.

Why do I know this? The car that is pictured in is mine. I took the picture.

No change in runner length, only plenum volume.

Just like I said previously, sheet metal intakes must be fabricated (welded). Ray Charles could see the first post was an aluminum "cast" intake.

I know there is a sheet metal out there that wilson made that they did something to to make it look like a cast intake and I thought it was this one, obviously I was wrong.
