will it fit?

will a freshly rebuilt 700r4 transmission out of an 89 iroc z fit into a 95 z28. will it run ok? fit ok? or is it possible or not possible?

It'll fit, but it won't work....your '95 shifting is done electronically, the '89 is done mechanically, using the governor...not sure if there's a way to disconnect the trans electrical without throwing codes....
