Sounds normal to me, I get about 160-180 tank in the city with a little highway use. Thats if I am nice. But usually I see 150-160 when I mess around a little. Before I put in new 02 sensorys I was at 150 with city/highway, so I gained 30 miles/tank with new 02's

I get about 25 mpg on the highway driving 95 miles a day to and from work. Its a M6 and I dont use the skipshift (just shift at higher rpms

Just a thought and don't flame me here, but those of you with lower gas mileage, have you checked your tire pressure? Could make a huge difference... I checked mine this morning and found all 4 tires down 8 psi (just pulled it out of storage from the winter) Doesn't hurt to check them once a month

Some other possible causes

-front tire misalignment
-dragging brakes
-engine running too cold, I doubt that a 160 thermostat would
cause any problems, but a broken one which would cause continuous cooling may.
-old o2 sensors

or maybe everyone is just driving these cars like they are meant to be driven!!!

I still haven't calculated how much mpg or mpt I get. Of course, it ain't much. The Camaro gas gauge is so weird. One second, I have a full tank, next time I look, I have 3/4 of a tank, and 5 minutes after that, it's about full again. Everyone I know says their Camaro does the same thing.

I think we have a 15.5 gallon tank. We'll i have bene gettin like 16.7 mpg reving out to liek 3,000 through shifts. I put up a post awhile back askin the same question because i didn't think it was very good and they said to granny shift it and shift before 2,000 and try skip shifting. We'll i've tried all of the above and only got 17.3 mpg. Therefore, I'll just stick to using the power...thats why i bought the car, not to drive it like some 65 year old lady. I have never really made a long highway trip with it but i will be heading to columbus for a state basketball championship...we gonna win state (Ohio), so I'll let oyu know how my highway mileage is. By the way i am stock and i get a lot of popping through revs and my garage wreaks of gas from the exhaust.

Also try cleaning your MAF. I just did and it made a big difference. I thought about getting new O2s but at $50 a pop it would take many tanks to reach the savings in gas.

wow the mpg is all over the place

when i first got the car it (m6) (3.42 gear) (with some mods already done) it was getting 17/25

then we had to run it rich for awhile until we can tune it some more so i dealt with the 14-15 around town thurway and streets

now i pulled it out for spring, and for the first week i had the totally stock tune back on, getting 13mpg (didnt go on the thruway)

what a P.I.T.A. id like to see those 17mpg again around town, gotta get to work tuning i guess

I've got a very small exhaust leak around the back cylinder on pass side, could this be causing the strong smell of gas out of my exhaust? Any ideas for possibly wrapping it? I am also only getting 16-17 mpg and think it is due to the leak, because I can smell gas from the exhuast.

After opti, plugs and wires my gas mileage is now awesome, after headers I will have new O2s so that will help as well.

Right now I have a less than the half mark and I have pulled 217 miles so far, I could probably get a good 10 or at most 15 more out of it before running out, that was on a 13.5 gallon fill up. Most my car has ever taken.

wow, some of your guys get bad mileage. I drive mine around town half the time and on the highway the other half usually. I usually get about 19-20 mpg. But the best i ever got was 22mpg on all freeway. I dunno how some of you get 25 ever.
