It is completely unreleased yet so any opinions on it can be nothing more than speculation. This neglecting the fact it is meant to replace VENTED optis so it would take a bit more work to put in your 94 if it is an f-body which I will asume since you have no sig but this is an f-body targetted forum.
There are a few sources that will sell whole new GM units for reasonable prices like under $300
