Question wheels,suspention,gear question

ok i wanna go to p315 35-17s for my rear wheels. will that give me pretty good traction when i put a 4.10 rear in........ and i wanna go to eibach sportlines springs will i have a problem with rubbing those new wheels, are sportlines good ( i dont hav L/t headers) ... 3 things i was wondering..



o yea how much do just 1.6 rr's cost

Depends on offset, but probably. But it's nothing that can't be fixed. That's exactly what I'm going to be running, 315's on 17x11 50mm offset ZR-1 wheels. I already have Eibach Sportlines on mine. I know I'll have to hammer on the inner fenderwheels in the back and maybe trim some of the inner fenderwell in the front.

traction is based primarily on sidewall, not width. you are going to have craptastic traction (in a drag racing sense) with those wheels and tires. And i'm pretty sure Eibach sport lines lower the car dont they? Even worse traction.

Handling should be pretty nice though

thats what i m getting ZR1 s 17 by 11s.................why go wider if i wont get any more lo end traction, cause 35 seires??

...as opposed to top end traction? whats low end traction? does traction have a "power band" now

its SIDEWALL not WIDTH that is important on street tire

Out of the hole a tire with a bigger sidewall is going to flex more and will provide more grip. A 35 series sidewall will not give as much and will spin rather than grip.
