Wheel Fitment ?
Wheel Fitment ?
I just bought a set of factory SS wheels that came off of a 99 SS. They are the ZR1 style. I went to install them on my 95 Z28 and the rear ones would not fit. The issue was were the axle comes through the rotor and the center of the wheel fits over that. They was some rust that I removed with a dremel on the axle, but it was still a very, I mean very tight fit. I just hope at this point I will be able to get them back off. Anyway is there any reason why the wheels shouldn't fit easily, they went right on the front as they should. I am sure that all wheels, factory at least should work on all camaro's 93 and up.
Thanks

This has been discussed many, many times recently. You must remove some of the aluminum from the wheel center in the back. If you forced them on, it's not good. The rear axle hubs are smaller on the newer models, so the wheel centers were made a little smaller too. A couple of minutes with a Dremel, file or even sandpaper and you are good to go.
