something is very wrong. when i put it in reverse to back out of my parking spot it jerked just a little twice w/no throttle applied. it does it again when i pull into next spot to pick up brother but this time idling in D. then i get to the gas station (after driving 15 miles on the highway no problems) and it acts like it's dying and the rpms jump from 600 to 1500 down to 450-500. when i go to pull out it acts like its dying again. then at a red light i put it in netural and kept the rmps up since the idle is funny. when i put it back in drive no throttle response just kinda rools through intersection. I then look down and the oil pressure is low but car temp is good and when i got it pulled over the oil seems to be full. I let it sit while i call my dad and i check for leaks, none. the mechanic is thinking either fuel or ignition and 1 of my friends at school w/a firebird said his car behaved similarly when he lost 1st and 2nd in his tranny. PLEASE HELP (and pray no opti/tranny problems)

Torque convertor took a dump. Pull the pan. Let us know how much metal is in the bottom.
