what will it take for a th350 swap?
 
i have a 95 TA that the tranny just took a crap in and lookin to go with a TH350,,, what is required to do this swap and has anyone ever done it??

trans, converter, driveshaft, torque arm mount kit, and i had to modify my 6-speed cross member to fit the th350. mine as well throw in a sfi aproved flexplate while there.. they aren't that much.

is this going to be a track car?If not lt1dave is good a doing trans rebuilds to handle high horsepower.

what kind of price range we lookin at??? i was thinking about taking it to goebel transmission,,,but can you give me some idea on what i am lookin at?

depends on what quality stuff you want.

i had my trans built threw my work. $125 for the trans to begin with and $325 to build it. figure you will spend about $1000 for a good set up. I went with about the lowest price converter i could get that will handle a little bit of nitrous. $425. I found a drive shaft in california that worked perfect for $40, but you should get a new one made. i used a b&m pro stick shifter was like $170 i think. Trans cooler $25-100 depending on what you get. And endless amounts of money wasted on gas with a trans with no overdrive, but im not complaining, i love this trans.
