what will this do
its be damn cooled and i have the computer programed for the 160* stat and the car is a daily driver I want to put the 180 stat back in for a little while but i dont want anything wierd to happen doing this. What should happen by doing this? just fans coming on ?

No harm done. The only thing that will happen is that your fans will just run longer, since the coolant in your engine will be allowed to get 20 degrees warmer than what the computer is programmed to allow it to before it kicks them on.
