What Valves?

I broke a Valve spring on my car and bent a valve (oh yay) so now my winter project is the top end of the motor. I think I'm gonna have Lloyd Elliot port my heads. I was wondering if anyone could offer an idea on what valves to go with? Lloyd said to stick with stock valves so most likely I will but GM wants an arm and a leg for them something like $15-$18 for exhaust each and $24-$26 for intake each. I've found them cheaper elsewhere I think Combination Motorsports sells Manley's for about $13 each, Lingenfelter sells sets of 8 int. & exh. for $99.95. Problem is I don't believe these are stock sizes. I'm not 100% positive what the stock sizes are . Any help would be appreciated

stock LT1 valve sizes are 1.94 int and 1.5exh, LT4 is 2.00 int and 1.55exh

I used Manely Race-Flo valves, but they were not stock size, I went with 2.00I 1.56E

Re: What Valves?

If you can't get 2.0-1.56 get 2.02-1.60 and get them cut down.LE can do that, and the valves are much cheaper.
Get standard stems not the undercut stems, unless you want to break another valve.

Thanks for the info and advice. I talked with Lloyd and he's gonna do 2.00 and 1.60 valves for me along with the rest of the top end goodies.
