What is this TB for?

I bought a BBK 52mm throttle body from a board member that was supposed to be for a 1994-1997 LT1. It doesn't match my stock TB. The TPS works differently and the butterfly for the throttle cable isn't the same. Can anyone tell me what vehicle this TB is actually for by looking at these photos? They're not the best pictures, but all I had was my phone...

I'm not sure, I didn't know the Y-Bodies had a different throttle body...

That is for like 85-92 SBC throttle bodies like an L98. The bottom IAC plate will fit, but the TPS is totally different.

BBK uses the same cheap stamped linkage as most of the aftermarket TBs - it looks different because it accomodates the TV cable for the non electric tranny. AS&M has a trick adjustable composite piece though.

Not a 93. '93 uses the same TPS sensor as all the other years. The linkage looks similar because it is the same - it has the TV cable link for the 700r4/4l60 tranny.

Still think it is 85-92 SBC - aka TPI dual tb.

Judging by the throttle linkage it is off of an 85-88 TPI. The linkage changed sometime in 89 to look more like what we have on our LT1s. I can also see the vacuum nipple on the bottom that is used for the EGR solenoid on TPI.

Well thanks guys, It doesn't really appear that this one is going to work for me, but at least now that I have an idea what it is, I can sell it to someone who can really use it.
