What springs to use for .600 lift?

What springs would I need to get to run a .595 lift cam?

I need a part number please. :)

First give consideration to the spring recommended by the cam manufacturer. Don't immediately assume there is a better spring out there. If you have your heads modified, then you have more choices. There are many variables to consider in finding the right spring, handling .600 lift is just one.

I have the same springs as Cody mentioned above. I hear good reports about them and they have worked well for me.

What are the cam specs and how high do you plan to rev it? Do you need a stock diameter spring?

XE 230/236 cam with 1.7 rockers. Stock diameter springs needed. Revving to 6700.

Building a 383 as we speak.

You'll want a stout dual spring. The Crane 99893 has a good reputation and fits in the oem LT1 heads. It will handle the lift on your cam just fine and provide good set pressure for high revs when installed at the proper height.

Comp makes pretty good stuff, so consider their spring recommendation. CC has a great informative website.

The 1.7 rockers with that cam probably isn't that smart...

How high are your valve covers going to be? :D
