maybe you all can give me idea on how much nitrous my engine can handle. I have a 383 with a 2 bolt main all forged internals the rings have been gapped for nitrous, arp hardware,42lb injectors,and 255lph fuel pump. the car dynoed 413 rwhp NA. I bought a used nitrous outlet Plate wet kit with all the safety stuff.my question is what size shot you all think safely my engine can handle?I'm a newbie with this nitrous stuff so I'm trying to learn as much as I can before installing this kit.

 

Safely depends on alot more than what's in your block. Give nitrousoutlet a call and let them tell you what they think. Very helpful guys and very knowledgeable. Although, those 2 bolt mains aren't doing you any favors.

Yeah that's my biggest concern is the 2 bolt mains. Thanks for the I fo I will call nitrous outlet and get there opinions.
