what other cars have lt1 engine?

Re: what other cars have lt1 engine?
I think all of the full-size RWD GM vehicles (Chevy Caprice, Cadillac Fleetwood, Buick Roadmaster and Olds Custom Cruiser) had it as an option.
Maybe not exactly the same as in the F-body or Vette, but in some form or another, anyway...

You have to watch out if you are buying an engine out of one of those B-body car as many of them came with a 4.3 liter (some call it the baby LT1) that looks identical to a LT1 on the outside. There are a lot of guys out there selling them and trying to pass them off as 5.7s.

The Custom Cruiser was never available with the LT1 it died with a TBI in it yet. The 94-96 Caprice(Impala is a TRIM package), Roadmaster, Fleetwood all got the LT1 and the iron heads outflow the aluminums through 95 and the 96-7 aluminums only flow as well as the irons not better. The b-body cam is not designed to minimize lownd the way the f-body one seems to be, stock HP ratings are as installed in the car and the intake and exhaust are choked badly consider that before you THINK the b-body LT1s rating makes it weak guys are topping 300RWHP with boltons and our heavier drivetrain. Oh and the Roadmaster sedan and wagon, Caprice wagon, and Fleetwood all had the LT1 as standard the f-body can't claim that.

Yep, the B-body (no, it doesn't mean "Big" ) cam is milder than the F-body. This helps low-mid range torque, but cuts down on max hp. Getting 4200+# moving with a 3.08 (Impala) is a torque challenge. About the only heavier driveline bit is the 8.5 axle.

4.3L "LT1"s were only available in 94-96 Caprices and were called L99s not LT1s even though externally they can be confused easily with an LT1.
Other than that, Fleetwoods, Roadmasters, Impalas, Caprices and Y/F bodies got the LT1. There were no LT1s in Oldsmobiles as far as I know. On all cars besides F-bodies and Y-bodies LT1s were installed from 94 to 96. Y-bodies had it from 92 to 96 and F-bodies from 93 to 97.
