Sooooo, one would tend to think the link WAS for the MSD[which is the manufacturer ] optispark..

EDIT: I suspect that this is what you are looking at:
Go to Summitracing.com in 'search ' enter 'MSD 8381' or 'MSD 83811' a link won't work for some reason..
That is, if they are ever 'actually available'...

Its an Accel Optispark, wondering if anyone had any info on this?

i have a dynaspark. No problems yet and have had it for 2 years and counting!

 

OK the 'Accel' one.. good to see a few manufacturers finally addressing this issue.. it should help keep the cost realistic.. The Accel having 'heavy-duty Oil-lite bushings ' doesn't really excite me much tho.. and it's vented only..
The 'bearing' is one of the weaknesses in the GM opti..
Time will tell tho.. let's hope SOMEONE gets one out soon so we can see how they actually work! [and yes it does appear that Summit is in on something there also, but there are no 'details'[p/n SUM-850060 ]
