What are good lifters to use on an LT4 hot cam swap?

I want to replace my lifters they're shot. What is a good lifter to use with the hot cam, I want to rev this thing to 6500 often.

The Comp Cams R lifters are yours for about $200 and will do the job with no sweat.

Thats what I figured, aren't they also called the pro magnums?

Josh-'04 GTO 01-18-2004 06:19 PM

I don't think I've ever heard them referred to as "Pro Magnums".

Comp 875-16's....

You know, you really could just get the OEM replacements.

But I'd also say the Comp R's.

For the extra 20 bucks the Comp R Lifters cost, I would definitely say it is worth it, especially since they reduce the possibility of valve float at higher RPMs.
