what gains from a 2800 stall?

I just ordered a Midwest 2800 stall, 2.0 str . I currently run a 13.5@101 ( 2.0 60') in the 1/4 with Goodyears.

What times should I expect with the new stall and a set DRs?

well, it's hard to say from brand to brand if you aren't familiar w/ them. I'm not sure if your converter is an 11inch or a 9.5 or something else. In the case of my vigilante, I went from a 13.646 to a 13.1 but it took 2 months of relearning how to launch before I could get there. Before the stall I cut pretty consistent 2.0s. Afterwards my best was a traction limited 1.85.

anyone else?

I have heard for the most part you will lose .5 tenths. :)

Yep, that is assuming you get traction. I hope you have some drag radials :)

Stickies and a practiced launch will net you good results. When you get it installed go out with the stickies installed on a deserted back road and practice til youre comfortable with it.

Best all around mod! Took .4 off my 1/4 and 2.0 60s street tires. Like said above learning how to launch is tricky.

Welp, I went from 13.5 @ 101.xx 1.99 60' on nitto's to 12.9 @ 104 w/ the converter cutting 1.7 60's on nitto's as well :)

I also added Brian's PCMforless tuning in that mix.

Look at my sig... I've only run a best of a 13.520 w/the converter... that was on the 1.855 60', but I guess if you take into acount that my opti was taking a crap during that run, it's a good time. :D
