If you are gonna go that route, start with the plugs and wires first. How long has it been since they have been changed. If it has been a long time, it wouldn't hurt to change them anyway. It fixed my car when it had the same problem. Good luck

p.s. you comming on the 12th?

Plugs and wires would be my first thing to change if I were you.

Aren't plugs and wire expensive to have done?

Well I just spent around $800 changing the water pump and opti so money is tight and I'm buying new tires. I was hoping I could get an answer that would narrow my search to the definite prob, but I guess these cars are too complicated for that

I'm having similar problems... and i believe its due to my lack of getting a tune up and my car now has 103K on it. My RPMs jump around like a crackhead on a trampoline... i'm changing everything including the stupid #%@#$@!#$ overpriced OPTI ......

I think I'll start with the fuel filter and go from there. As far as I know it probably hasn't been changed in a while.

Cool

Might do the coil wire first.I have to change mine every 6 months ,to a year or so.It's very simple, but use the die-electric greese on the coil terminals to.This sounds too simple I know, but if you are going to do the wires anyway,it comes in the pack.Do this first.Hope this helps.
