Question What 2 Do Next?

All my mods are in my signature...

I got $500.00 2 spend, what should I get done next? Car has 165,000 on it...

Also, what'z better 2 run: 355 or 383? Mainly daily driver with some street racing habitz...

start off with a intake then do exhaust either a cat-back setup or go with a full exhaust setup with new headers and all that fun stuff.

Don't know if you can get everything you need for headers for $500, but you can def. get a nice cat-back setup.

Definately start out with a CAI. The moroso's seem to have a good reputation and aren't going to break the bank. If it were me, I'd throw a cutout on it at the same time, but they're a little loud for some people. After that I would start saving some cash for headers and a tune.

with a 165,000 on it. might want to add support to the rear end, or the tranny, especially since its an a4. more power is fun but you have to counterbalance your progress. alittle bit of power mixed with a little bit of support. like a ta girdle or somekind of trans-kit or cooler. dont wanna get to much power and then start breaking things that could of been avoided.

get a cai and then save up for a full exhaust, longtubes with either true duals dumped or a off road y-pipe into a quality cat back....

OK, I'm in CA, so tha smog regulationz suck... any advice on how 2 run a 383 Cali style?

I second the moroso cai. You might be able to get away with a catback as well for a little more than 500, I think my magnaflow a few years back was 400, and the moroso is 130? You might want to consider just doing something small like the cai and saving up for when something breaks or when you want to replace something, given the 165xxx miles.
