What’s that metal piece that bolts between the two frame rails?

It is toward the front of the drive shaft, and the exhaust and drive-shaft go above it.

It looks like some kind of drive-shaft safety catch (not a loop like the aftermarket ones I have seen).

Can I remove it? I just installed a cut out and the exhaust hits it.

Thanks,
-Jason

If it is a wavy piece of metal you can remove it, it,s pretty flimsy and I have seen other guys do it for true dual setups. In fact I replaced mine with a G load brace but may have to remove it for true duals, gonna try my best to keep it in there though.

As far as I can tall it is a black steel piece of metal.

And yes, it is wavy.
