Weird Startup Problem(s)~!
 

Sometimes (maybe once every 2 or 3 days) the Z doesn't want to startup the first turn in the morning! It just turns and turns but doesnt want to catch at all. Then if I wait maybe 5 seconds, turn the key again to prime the pump and then try the start the engine it will usually start right up. I've also waited to hear the whirr of my fuel pump in the back to go and stop before i try and turn the engine.

If I start the car at any other time after that it starts right up!

Yesterday, about 10 minutes after experiencing this, I hit the gas station, turned the car off and filled it right up. When I started the car (it started fine) it immediatly started shaking like it was missing a beat! I drove the car backwards out of the stall, popped the hood and got out to listen to the engine closer up. Then as soon as i walked up to the front it kinda revved up a tad and smoothed right out, without me touching a thing. It hasn't done this since!

Any ideas on what is going on with my car?

fuel pump could be going out, check it.

Fuel pump was replaced less than a year ago and when i last checked it a few weeks ago the fuel pressures looked fine at idle, engine off and while driving :( I sure hope its not going already. Is this a typical opti symptom?

could be opti....make sure that teh water pump i nto leaking onto the opti......also if it does it at idle ur IAC (idle air control) could be going bad....this happened to me b4 but i never found teh problem....it sorta fixed itself
