water pump help

which water pump to buy, the Meziere or the CSR water pump????????

I've been running the HD Meziere for 4.5 years without a problem.

Well thats good to know, just wondering, because the other one was cheaper, but you know the old saying you pay for what you get......

I run the CSR waterpump. Nice solid billet aluminum piece. I want to say the only difference between electric wp's is the Gallons per Minute rating. Mine flows just fine though, I daily drove it all summer in stop and go traffic in town with the California valley heat, a/c cranked, plus I still have the stock thermostat and didn't have any overheating problems.

Flip a coin, they're both about the same.

heres what id base my choice on..

would you rather cut into the fan shroud (meziere), or
would you rather dremel part of the waterpump housing(csr)?

its way easier to cut the fan shroud, but it looks way cleaner to dremel the housing

I run CSR but I am sure both are great. CSR can be rebuilt for about 1/2 the cost of a new one. I like that.

Same with the Meziere.

I suggest a CSR. You will still need to cut the fan shroud. From my experience, you don't want the car to run too cool... but that's more of a thermostat issue than water pump.
