Installed my Caprice LT1 in my firebird and fired it last night. Got some tips on what to change. One I wished I knew, the oil cooler does not run water through it like the f-boby's, it must go to a separate oil cooler.

Needless to say, the inside of my motor just got a bath.

Yeah... LT1 caprices have a separate cooler, like a trans cooler that sits out in front of the radiator/condensor.

That sucks dude.

 

Only ran for about 30 seconds. So I'm just gonna do a few flushes.
