water/coolant leaking through this hose
Hey guys that water hose that connects to the water pump on the drivers side below the upper radiator hose i believe its half rubber and half metal and runs all the way to the back of something lol. I see coolant/water leaking through the metal part, very slow leak. But was wondering how can i get that hose fixed, because i think it runs all the way to the oil adapter. thank u guys

Re: water/coolant leaking through this hose
What you are calling the oil adapter is the oil cooler. Many people delete it because they don't see a need for it (GM only installed it through 95), or because they feel it can plug up and hurt oil circulation. I've had it functional for 20+ years with no problems.
You may be able to find the coolant line from someone who deleted the cooler. Might want to try posting on "Parts Wanted". If you delete it, you would use the "oil cooler bypass hose" shown in this diagram: http://shbox.com/1/93-94_hoses.jpg This is the oil cooler plumbing diagram: http://shbox.com/1/oil_cooler.jpg |

Re: water/coolant leaking through this hose
As a temp fix, wrap a split piece of rubber hose around the area of the crack in the pipe, and put a band clamp over the area to hold the hose tight against the crack.

95s were different from 93-94s. So, unless you got the whole thing, it might not work.
