Wait to install larger injectors?

I need the experts' help for this...

I have LT headers and Magnaflow catback on the way, and will either be getting the LE2 head & cam package or a supercharger for my '97 LT1.
With the mods I'm doing now (total exhaust upgrade and high quality CAI) I will be getting a PCM4less or Madz28 tune. Since I know I will be needing larger injectors when my next round of mods come later 2006, can I plan ahead and get the 30lb or 36lb injectors now and have the PCM programmed for them? This way, I may save money by not having to have the PCM tuned again with the next mods.

If I do get the larger injectors with PCM tuned for them, will I see a driveabilty problem (or REALLY bad mileage) during normal and WOT runs?

Most tuners offer a retune for a decent price and sometimes free if its withing a ceratin time frame. I used pcmforless before when i had my fbody and he always did a good job

If you're doing heads and cam, or a S/C in the furture, you're going to need a new tune. You can't make major changes like that and expect to keep the same tune you have for a basically stock engine. Even if they set up the current tune for the 30's or 36's, you would still need a new tune for major mods.

If you do a S/C, how do you plan to add the extra fuel - FMU or just with the tune? That would affect injector sizing.

Leave the stockers in. I ran 11.20's@120.8mph N/A on the stockers. later

I'd say you'd better decide whether or not you're doing a supercharger before you decide what injectors you're going to need.
